Past Gatherings

After God's Heart

New Years 2015-2016

Richmond VA

We have been impressed more than ever of the need in these last days for the young people of God to come together to strengthen and encourage one another in the Lord.  That the Lord would have a generation that seeks His face with all their hearts, those whose hearts are the highways to Zion.  As such, we sensed a need to facilitate a gathering of college and career aged young people who desire to lay hold of that for which also they have been laid hold of by Christ Jesus. Details regarding the gathering below.

Theme: “After God’s Heart”

"I have found David, the son of Jesse, a man after my heart, who shall do all my will." (Acts 13:22)

Strong and Courageous

New Years 2016-2017

Memphis TN

Last year we held the first Winter Young People's Gathering in Richmond VA.  At that time, we sensed the need in these last days to come together and encourage one another other in the Lord.  To lay hold of that for which also we have been laid hold of by Christ Jesus.  We believe it was the Lord who purposed the time, and as we gathered in His name we found He was there in our midst opening His heart to us.  As the gathering wrapped up and we committed everything back to Him, we were left with an impression this was not a one year event.  As though His desire was to use these times to strengthen the weak hands an feeble knees and cause our generation to possess our Possession and bear the testimony of Jesus. As we enter the darkest hour of the night, we believe the Lord is calling us together again over the New Year's weekend in continuation of our pursuit together.

Theme: “Be Strong and Courageous”

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." (Jos 1:9)

The Gospel Trumpet

New Years 2017-2018

Richmond VA

We believe the Lord would have us to gather again this year over the New Year’s weekend.  The past two years,  we were encouraged to “get in” or “remain in” the race.  To be a generation with a heart after God’s heart, those who are strong and courageous by faith walking in all the Lord has revealed.  As we continue in our pursuit together, we sense the Lord desires to equip us for the days ahead.  To that end, we believe He would have us consider the importance of evangelism.

Walking in the Light of God's Word

January 10th - 13th

Washington DC

Prior to the last Winter Young People's Gathering, the Lord began to impress Psalm 119:105 on our hearts, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."  Since that time, there has been an increasing sense of the need for us as the Lord's people to walk according to the light of God's Word.  Approaching the word of God, not as an academic exercise, but with an expectation to meet the Lord.  An expectation to hear His voice and to be led by Him in every aspect of our lives.

Once again the Lord has provided for Himself, opening an opportunity for us to gather together in His name to encourage one another as we pursue together.  Lord willing, we will gather in DC over the Martin Luther King holiday for the 4th Winter Young People's (Adults) Gathering.
